Hi, I am Susan Melzer, MSW, LCSW. My practice was created to help client with various challenges that cause anxiety in their lives. The master's degree I hold came from Widener University in Chester, PA in 2002. Since then I have over 15 years experience with helping people who have had various degrees of mental health issues affect their or their family's lives.
For the past 5 years I have exclusively focus on helping those with anxiety improve their lives. To help others reach their fullest potential as well as overcome life's challenges is rewarding to those who seek help here. Some ways I help people are by using a mixture of educational and cognitive-behavioral modalities while using the client's strengths to reach even high levels of success.
Through my diverse clinical experiences and post graduate training I have worked with and gained an understand of how children, teens, and adults whom are experiencing transitions, fears, or losses that bring them anxiety are able to be helped. In order to bring this help to those who need it, I decided to focus my practice to just those who are struggling with these situations. Therapy can be very powerful and help others to make positive, long lasting internal changes for themselves and their loved ones.
